How Chilius handles sealed food products, damaged parcels and order problems.

Food product returns
Because Chilius sells food products, opened spices, sauces, oils and other consumables cannot normally be returned unless they are faulty, damaged, unsafe, or the wrong product was sent.
Sealed, unused products may be eligible for return when local consumer rules allow it. Contact Chilius before sending anything back so the return can be assessed.
Damaged or wrong items
If packaging arrives open, leaking, broken or the order contains the wrong item, contact Chilius promptly with the order reference, checkout email and clear photos of the parcel and product.
Do not use food that appears unsafe. Keep the packaging until support confirms the next step.
Refunds
Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method where possible. Processing time depends on Stripe, the card provider and the customer's bank.
Shipping costs may be refunded when the problem was caused by Chilius, the product was damaged before delivery, or consumer law requires it.
Taste, heat and preference
Taste preferences, expected heat level, or a change of mind after opening a food product do not usually qualify for a refund. Contact Chilius anyway if something seems wrong with the batch.
Chilius uses essential cookies for cart, checkout and account flows. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand storefront usage. Analytics is off unless you accept.
